Chapter 71:Has She Been Kidnapped?
"Why are you both in tears? I did not intend for you both to cry; please stop crying," Li Chuxi exclaimed.
Xin Yan smiled through the tears, beckoning her to come closer to her.
"Little Chuxi, mommy only feels bad for the little child, and thus made me cry; the little baby had to separate from her parents, and it hurt mommy a lot," Xin Yan explained to her, and she nodded, as if she understood.
"Do not cry, mommy; the story is something I happened to learn by chance while walking down the street; it was told by those people; what truth could it possibly have? Do not worry about it," Li Chuxi told her as she helped Xin Yan wipe the tears from her cheeks.
"I will not cry anymore; I just felt a little emotional; it felt like I was the lady, and I could feel the emotions," Li Chuxi’s eyes brightened upon hearing her words.
"How about you, dad? Did the story make you feel anything? Li Chuxi turned to look at him with enthusiasm. She would be overjoyed if he connected with her story.
"I," he paused, unsure what he was going to say.
What emotions did he experience while listening to her story? He felt emotions he had never experienced before in his life. His heart clenched in agony, as if he were the one who had been through it.
"It is fine; I will not ask anymore," Li Chuxi said, forcing a smile.
"Should we go to an amusement park? "I have not spent much time with little Chuxi because I have been so busy at work," Li Qiang suggested.
Li Chuxi’s eyes lit up as she nodded enthusiastically.
