Chapter 16: Wedding 1
Xin Yan was dragged out of the bed by Nanny Zhong.
"Nanny Zhong, I want to sleep for a while, do let me sleep," she was pushed into the bathroom as she rubbed her groggy eyes.
She was too tired from reading documents the previous night and she didn't have a good sleep.
"Silly girl, do you know what today is? It's your wedding and you want to lay in bed, I really don't know what to do with you," Nanny Zhong shook her head as she helped her with the water temperature.
Xin Yan froze in her spot. She had totally forgotten about her wedding, well you could not blame her.
"What says the time now?" She took a deep breath before asking.
"It's half past five," Nanny Zhong replied without turning to look at her.
"What?" She shrieked.
"Who wakes up that early just for a wedding?" Xin Yan was speechless.
"I can't be bothered with you, yiu would need to have your makeup done and every other thing, I'm afraid by the time you are done, it would take a long time," Nanny Zhong scolded and explained to her at the same time.
Xin Yan looked at the nanny who had taken care of her for a long time and she didn't know what to feel.
