Chapter 11: Decision To Marry
Yuan Renshu clenched and unclenched his fists for a couple of times before he was able to become calm.
"So this is the reason she broke up with me? She wants to get married to Li Qiang, how dare she?" He yelled out which caused Jiang Lanfen who was listening to flinch in fright.
"How dare she?" This time around it was a whisper as he stared straight into a spot.
Jiang Lanfen cried. She didn't want him to be this way. He was meant to be happy now that she had broken up with him and had take the initiative to get married to someone else.
Then why was he so angry? She couldn't help but feel somehow. She only hoped the feelings he had for her was still there or she couldn't take it.
It took a while before the heavy breathing in the room subsided. When she noticed it was safe to enter, she did so.
"Brother Renshu," she called intimately as she looked at the man who looooked disheveled after his outburst.
"I'm sorry, I hope I didn't scare you," he snapped out of his trance as he pulled her close to him.
She shook her head negatively, "no you didn't, I understand that you were just frustrated, Lanfen understands you perfectly."
