Ragnar’s eyes swept across the faces of the onlookers, and a smile quickly settled on his face.
At the moment, only the sound of the cool evening breeze drifting by could be heard at the settlement.
Ragnar and Noah now stood in the middle of corpses with confident looks on their faces.
The onlookers, standing at the entrances of their huts, stared at the two of them with expressions ranging from surprise and fear to delight and confusion.
Seeing these expressions, Ragnar knew it was time to act.
"Good people of the eleventh hamlet," Ragnar spoke up in a loud voice, laced with confidence and power.
"My name is Ragnar Yellowwood and this is my friend, Noah," he introduced.
He waited for some sort of response from the confused crowd, but there was none. He smiled and continued.
Ragnar narrated how they found the three young ladies being assaulted and risked their lives to rescue them from the hands of their assaulters.
"They told us that their people were also suffering the same predicament at home, so we decided to come and rescue you all from these fucktards," Ragnar said, pointing at the corpse.
"From now on, you can sleep with your two eyes closed. Families can live in peace, lovers can love each other with peace of mind, without the fears of these fucktards ruining it."
As Ragnar ran on, the expressions of the people shifted from shock to relief, and after a few minutes, smiles appeared on their faces.
