"You just set your standards too high, expecting everything to be perfect. How can you not be mentally exhausted!" Tu Hengsha said again.
Shu Hui was displeased to hear this, "What do you mean by that? Is having high standards and striving for perfection wrong? I’m a teacher; if I don’t set high standards, can I be careless? Can I live with my conscience that way? Striving for perfection is the goal; we must work towards this goal. As for the final result, that’s also a regret in the teaching profession. Not all effort achieves the expected outcome."
Tu Hengsha knew it would be like this. Mom had a very firm and persistent attitude toward her professional pursuits. Whenever she expressed even a little bit of "holding back" sentiments, she would get a political lecture and an on-the-spot admonition not to be careless with her work.
