Bangbangtang barked a couple of times right on cue, as if to say, "Yeah, I’m being good." Then it happily nuzzled into her arms.
She secretly hummed a little tune, sneaking a glance at him. His determined profile and neatly trimmed sideburns were shrouded in shadows under the flickering streetlights, betraying no signs of emotion. Well, she never could tell his moods anyway...

"What plan?" He was driving, raindrops pattering against the windows in fine, rhythmic beats.

He thought for a moment and said seriously, "First, I should probably get a rabies shot, don’t you think? Even though the puppy’s teeth are tiny, it still bites pretty painfully!"
"You..." He kept comparing her to a little dog, and was doing it with such a earnest look? "Haha! I’ve decided, tomorrow a real little snake will find its way onto Su Rongxing’s chair, and you can wait for it to bite your butt!"
He seemed to ignore what she was saying, continuing, "That’s the first thing. Secondly, aren’t there compensation fees for nutrition and emotional distress?"
