Tu Hengsha and the female university student both ignored him.
The man asked again, "I’m asking you! Where’s the doctor? If someone dies, you can’t bear the responsibility!"
Liu Dawei and another soldier, even though they were sick and asleep, were very alert. Wang’s loud voice woke them up, and the two said in unison, "They must be downstairs!"
Wang turned and ran downstairs upon hearing this.
The female university student was still angry. "Why did you even bother with him!"
Under the candlelight, Liu Dawei scratched his head shyly and didn’t say a word.
Before long, a chaotic sound of footsteps could be heard coming upstairs, along with Wang’s incessant urging, "Hurry up! Doctor! Please hurry!"
What had happened?
Tu Hengsha got up to have a look and saw Wang leading the way, with several doctors and nurses following swiftly past her.
