Only God

Chapter 367 - 323

Nus Kingdom had set the day of its perceived arrival as the Arrival Festival, and every year on that day, the people of Logos would immerse themselves in a joyous celebration, wholeheartedly praising the grace of God. On that day, countless people would take ships across the sea to pilgrimage to the mountains.

The giant ancient tree grew on the mountain summit, its roots embedded in pure white snow—an incongruity that emphasized the sacredness of the tree.

The Nus Kingdom was isolated from the world, untouched by war and the plague that could not erupt amongst the disease-resistant Elves. They felt little impact from the overarching destruction, except for their withering wheat fields.

But that did not mean they were unmoved by grace. These Elves, who had been following Dertulian to establish the New Kingdom since their ancestors’ times, had their faith passed down through their bloodlines. When the brilliance from above shone down, almost the entire kingdom instinctively clasped their hands in prayer, looking up at the firmament.

No one would forget why the Nus Kingdom was established.

It originated from the second rational crisis—a group of people who refused to fall and desired to find where God resides.

Now, the mission for which Nus Kingdom was established had been completed.

God had returned. His angels descended from the mountains, mingling joyfully with the people of Logos and the True Believers, bringing divine revelations from God.

Devout Believers recorded every word spoken by the angels. Though these words could not compare to the status of the Holy Scriptures, they still found a place within the Church.

The appearance of the angels might have been a special favor from God to His firstborn.

This was what the people of Logos and the True Believers believed.
