Only God

Chapter 365 - 321: Great Power

The parched land was healing, and instead of reverting to its original barren state where not a blade of grass grew, successive stalks of wheat sprouted, bearing full ears heavy with grain. These ears of wheat, once harvested, could not only be ground into flour for food but also sown into the ground, yielding even more grains.

Beyond wheat, the forests that had been burnt or withered from lack of water were gradually reviving too. Under the splendor of radiant light, tree crowns were as dense as in spring, branches bloomed with flowers, and fruit trees bore large, sweet fruits.

Cattle and sheep grazed on the abundant grasses, finally satiating the hunger they had endured for many days. It would not be long before offspring were born and the cycle continued, restoring everything to the way it had been before destruction descended.

Under that sunlight, the people who had survived the ordeal enjoyed the sweet benevolence bestowed upon created beings.

Atop the walls of Danschel City, King Phil stood up, still clad in his armor, his crown still atop his head. He looked incredulously at the scene before him—the war had subsided, and all things were reviving.

His warriors all knelt on the ground, hands clasped in prayer. They prayed to a Divine being whom they had never seen before, and under this overwhelming influence, King Phil also knelt down. His knees touched the ground, and the bloodstains on the stone bricks reminded him that he had once died, now resurrected from death.

King Phil lowered his kingly head, beneath the dazzling golden radiance above, the King had never been so devout.

He no longer cared that the enemy still occupied the city, for King Nesol too knelt before the same miracle. He no longer fought for the survival of the city under his feet because, apart from the heavens being higher than the earth, the heavenly glory at this moment was more worthy of reverence.

Before this immense grace, there was no war on this earth, no slaughter, and so many ignominies vanished into nothingness.

"I pray to you...

the Heavenly savior, the King of Kings..."
