On the day he left, Basel finally regained some spirit and bid farewell to the Three-eyed Ape People, who earnestly urged him to return often and visit Elder Salas’s grave.
After crossing the desert again, Basel returned to the Kingdom and brought the news of Elder Salas’s death by illness to the King.
