Chapter 35 - 32: The Logos People Meet the Ocean
Al and Yarlessto had no experience in sailing, and for the few hundred years of their lives, they only had the experience of drifting on a raft.
Therefore, Yarlessto looked at the canoe that could only accommodate two people. Although it was clearly different from a raft, Yarlessto did not believe it could navigate smoothly in the turbulent currents.
Contrary to his eldest son, in the presence of God, Al had unwavering faith.
He first sat inside the canoe.
Seeing his father quietly sit down in the canoe, Yarlessto gritted his teeth and, despite hesitating, followed him.
"Lord, how are we to get to that place?"
After Yarlessto sat down in the canoe, he asked in a low voice.
"You will see, you are to go to the ocean."
God answered thus.
Yarlessto listened to this brief phrase, "ocean"... He had never heard this word before, and not just him, his father had also heard this word for the first time.
For a long time, the viewpoints of Logosians were confined by natural boundaries such as a great river or a mountain range, everyone had seen streams, rivers, lakes... but no one had ever seen "the ocean," so it was impossible for anyone to know that "the ocean" existed in the world.
