Chapter 268: Blood Relationship Not Established
On the sofa in the main hall on the first floor, Wang Jinhui sat upright, waiting left and right, but still no one came down, a flash of disappointment crossing his eyes.
"Master, the young master has been busy since he got back and only just got time to rest. Actually, seeing him tomorrow would be fine too."
Wang Jinhui shook his head, indicating to the butler that there was no need to cover for him, then he gazed out into the night sky and took a deep sigh.
He knew his own son, how could he not understand him; he was doing it on purpose, unwilling to forgive his father.
"What about the young madame? Did she say anything?"
"The young madame did want to come down, but..."
"It’s late, go get some rest."
Wang Jinhui cut the butler off mid-sentence, then turned and left.
He knew that everything that happened today was his own doing, thus he had no defense. He only hoped that as time went by, his son and daughter-in-law could understand his anguish and forgive the mistakes he had made.
Half an hour later, Wang Jinhui returned to the hospital, back to Tang Mei’s side, where he was needed.
He didn’t mention anything that had happened at home.
