"Alright, everyone calm down!" Mr. Shen finally spoke up, glaring at Shen Zhe, "Aren’t you ashamed enough? Look at yourself, what do you look like? Weiyi is your sister, and you, as her brother, want to lay hands on your own sister?"
Then he turned to Shen Weiyi: "This time it was your second brother who was wrong, but we’re all family. There’s no need for such uproar over any issues."
Although Mr. Shen didn’t like Shen Zhe, he also didn’t like Shen Weiyi, who, like the third, had a cold nature, a rebellious streak, and was tough to handle.

Shen Zhe couldn’t believe his ears, defiantly raging at Grandpa Shen, "Grandpa, it’s clearly this girl who harmed me. How can we just let it go?"
Mr. Shen glared at him: "If you hadn’t provoked her, why would she want to harm you?"
"I..." Shen Zhe was at a loss for words, "But we can’t just let it go like that."
"What else would you have us do?" Mr. Shen asked coldly. "You made a fool of yourself, and now you expect others to take the fall for you?"
When Mr. Shen said this, Ye Yao’s face turned pale, knowing that this comment was directed at her. She hurriedly spoke up: "Grandpa Shen, Uncle, Auntie, I came here specifically to apologize to sister Weiyi. This was all my fault, it has nothing to do with Shen Zhe. I was deceived by someone which led to the misunderstanding before, and Ah Zhe was just trying to help me by taking the blame. He never had any intention of harming sister Weiyi."
"What do you have to say for yourself?" Mr. Shen turned to Shen Zhe.
Shen Zhe snorted: "You heard her. I didn’t harm her. It’s this damn girl’s relentless pursuit that got me locked up for so many days. It’s only fair that she apologizes to me, right?"
