Chapter 133: Has Someone Been Bullying You?
In the afternoon, Shen Tan showed up at Z University, looking for Shen Weiyi to mooch off a meal.
The two of them headed to the largest canteen at Z University, touted to accommodate tens of thousands, where one could enjoy cuisines from all over the country.
In the same canteen, a girl was sitting across from Qin Ruo.
"What’s the matter? You got into Z University and still not happy?" Ye Yao asked as she raised an eyebrow at her younger cousin’s sulky face.
Ye Yao was also a student at Z University, in her senior year, and was currently preparing to take the entrance exams for a Master’s degree at the same school. Unless something unexpected happened, she would continue her studies at Z University for the next few years.
Qin Ruo poked at the rice in front of her with chopsticks, grumbling, "Isn’t it because of those girls in our dorm? They’re so annoying. If I had known, I wouldn’t have applied to Z University."
Ye Yao gave her a look and said, "Don’t talk nonsense. Do you think just anyone can get into Z University? If it weren’t for..." She stopped midway, catching herself, "Anyway, don’t be foolish. Now that you’re here, study hard and don’t waste such a good opportunity."
Qin Ruo of course knew how difficult it was to get into Z University. She was just complaining for the sake of it, and upon hearing the scolding, felt even less enthusiastic and said, "I know, I was just saying it. But sis, can freshmen really not move out and live off-campus?"
"In principle, they can’t, but it’s not absolute. If you really want to move out, you could apply for off-campus housing with the tutor on the grounds of health issues. Why, is someone bullying you in the dorm?" Ye Yao inquired.
"They wouldn’t dare bully me," Qin Ruo sneered, "It’s just that someone always loves to oppose me."
"If you don’t like them, then just keep your distance. But this is a university, not your home. You need to restrain yourself a bit; isn’t everyone who gets into Z University proud and ambitious? If you don’t change your high-and-mighty attitude, you’re bound to suffer," Ye Yao said, knowing her cousin’s temper all too well, spoiled by her family with a princess complex, always thinking that everyone should cater to her, which of course easily led to conflicts.
