Chapter 15: Want to Go Home with Sister
After promising to buy Little Douding some yummy food, the three of them headed to the supermarket after exiting the neighborhood. Shen Weiyi put Little Douding in the shopping cart, and the little guy waved his small arms, chanting, "Charge!"
Shen Weiyi was about to push the cart when he heard Sheng Ting say, "Let me do it!"
Having observed him along the way, Shen Weiyi noticed that Sheng Ting wasn’t much of a talker. It was rare for him to initiate conversation, so Shen Weiyi stepped aside and gave the cart to him.
"Don’t want Tingting." Little Douding, however, wasn’t happy about it. He glared at Sheng Ting, unwilling to let him push the cart.
Sheng Ting looked at him and said, "You’re quite heavy! Plus, the supermarket is crowded. Are you sure you don’t want me to push?"
Little Douding pursed his lips, finally showing a reluctant expression, "Dingding will push." He didn’t want to tire his sister.
"This one, this one, and this one..." Little Douding directed Sheng Ting right to the snacks aisle, his small hand continuously grabbing snacks into the cart.
Sheng Ting frowned and said, "That’s too many. Kids shouldn’t eat so many snacks."
