Chapter 165: Adam Vs Alustus I
"My King, it’s done."
Alcey said as she looked down at the arena. The blast she unleashed upon Adam had scorched the entire battlefield.
Thankfully, all the monsters, except Adam, were protected by a powerful water barrier created by Alustus.
However, Alustus’s eyes narrowed as he scanned the field.
He couldn’t sense Adam’s presence. So he turned to Xindy for confirmation.
"Did we get him, Xindy?"
But the answer he received shook him.
[Negative. The attack itself did zero damage]
’Ha...How, there is no way that possible, that clan shot, are you shitting me right now?!’
Alustus inwardly shouted, questioning even further.
’That last attack had enough power packed into it to level an entire city. What the hell do you mean it did zero damage?’
Alustus asked Xindy mentally, but her response remained unchanged.
