Chapter 45: Danger at The River
It had been two hours since Adam defeated the Bulgae and left the spot where the battle had taken place.
The wind howled through the dense forest, rustling the thick canopy of leaves as a black blur zipped between the trees, and through the thick Miasma mist. Adam moved with inhuman agility, flipping, twisting, and rebounding off the thick branches like a seasoned acrobat.
Things he as a normal hum from Earth was unable to do in his past life.
His movements were fluid, almost effortless as if gravity itself had decided he was beyond its control.
If one were to see him now, they would have been left speechless. After all, what kind of five-year-old could perform feats like this? His body twisted midair, flipping off a tree trunk before diving headfirst toward another. A quick handstand kick sent him spiraling upward before he grabbed onto a branch, using it as a launch pad to propel himself forward.
Ever since coming to this world, Adam had realized one undeniable fact, even though he is human in this life again, he was no ordinary human in any category whatsoever.
His new existence as a Shinso Human had completely altered his physical capabilities. His flexibility bordered on absurd, allowing him to contort his body in ways that would break a normal person.
Despite his slim physique, his strength was monstrous, he could lift small boulders with ease and shatter large trees with a single strike. But his speed... that was something else entirely.
After a short period of training, his current top speed had reached an astonishing 90 km/h. At this speed, he could scale hundreds of meters in mere seconds.
The world around him blurred as he moved; each step was taken into account, every leap perfectly measured, to prevent him from messing up his parkour. His surroundings barely had time to register his presence before he was already gone.
And yet, he remained cautious.
