Minerva shot back without missing a beat, her tone dripping with playful defiance.
Adam just stood there, staring at her like she had grown a second head. His brain was struggling to process what he'd just heard. Over the years, he'd played his fair share of weird harem games, and seen all kinds of ridiculous, over-the-top nonsense. But this? This was a whole new level of absurdity.
He knew what hybrids were, the whole village was full of them for crying out loud, and it was quite a niche type trope in most fantasy and harem games.
But these were quite different, all things considered, to call them just any hybrid, would be a joke for sure... and it didn't help that they were one with Suicide in their damn name? If he said he had ever heard of something like this before, he would be lying through his teeth.
Then, out of nowhere.
"HAHAHA!!...
Adam burst out laughing.
Loud.
Unapologetic.
And honestly? Who could blame him? This whole thing sounded like a joke.
