Chapter 281: Encounter with Lan Jiaojiao
Lan Jiaojiao didn’t see Qin Yi and walked straight to the table in the corner, putting down the medical box.
"Jiaojiao, shall we go somewhere nicer to eat? The environment here is really poor and unhygienic." The young man frowned, dissatisfied with the shop’s surroundings.
"We need to fill our stomachs and get back on the road. When you’re out, you can’t be so particular. If you mind, go find a better restaurant yourself," Lan Jiaojiao said lightly, then shouted to the busy boss in the kitchen, "I’ll have a fried noodle."
The young man said, "You’re just eating that? At least order a few dishes. Even when you are out, you shouldn’t mistreat your stomach."
"I’m not as pampered as you, just being full is enough. Besides, we still need to hit the road, no time to waste."
The young man looked helpless, turned around and shouted towards the kitchen, "Boss, another serving of fried noodles."
Qin Yi sighed slightly, Lan Jiaojiao had changed; the Lan Jiaojiao who once elegantly drank coffee and ate steak in a cafe now settled for a simple plate of fried noodles.
The young man went to the counter to grab two disposable cups and poured two cups of tea, "What kind of tea is this? There’s no color, who knows how many times it’s been brewed. Don’t drink it, I’ll go out and buy water."
Lan Jiaojiao didn’t say anything, picked up the so-called tea which was even blander than plain water, and drank it.
The young man was stunned, and said helplessly, "Jiaojiao, I really don’t understand why a girl like you prefers to wander around, exposed to the elements. This time when you go back, don’t leave again, let me take care of you."
