Chapter 239: This Mouth is Enlightened
After having breakfast at Old Man Niu’s house, the two bid farewell.
Since there were still more than ten miles to the spot where they could catch a bus, Old Man Niu let the two ride the little jujube horse, which would return by itself once they got there.
The two reached the roadside, set the little jujube to go back, and waited for the bus. It was just an ordinary big bus.
After waiting for about twenty minutes, the bus arrived, and they got on to buy tickets.
The bus was quite full, and Qin Yi and Lan Jiaojiao sat at the back.
Lan Jiaojiao was looking at the scenery on both sides of the road, though there wasn’t much to see, just mountains. She suddenly turned and glared at Qin Yi.
Qin Yi was baffled, "Why are you glaring at me?"
"What do you think?" Lan Jiaojiao looked murderous.
Qin Yi gave a wry smile, "I really didn’t mean it, who asked you to be restless in your sleep?."
Lan Jiaojiao blushed and said angrily, "That’s not what I’m talking about. I just remembered, when I woke up in the mountains, my injuries were almost healed. I can understand the wounds on my arm, but how did you treat the ones on my body?"
