Chapter 94: No Plan is Foolproof
"Bingbing, are you okay?"
In the evening, as Xia Yanbing just got home, Lin Hongzhuang hurried over with a concerned look and asked.
Xia Yanbing was slightly stunned and asked in surprise, "What happened to me?"
"I know everything that happened at the construction site today," Lin Hongzhuang said.
"How did you know?" Xia Yanbing was shocked.
"I went to your company this afternoon. They said there was an incident at the construction site. I went to the site to find you and heard from the people there. I couldn’t reach you on the phone, it really worried me to death."
Xia Yanbing took out her phone and found that it had shut down without her noticing because the battery had died.
She had received a call close to the end of work and went to the police station, probably around the time her phone died, which is why it hadn’t rung all the way home.
"Sister-in-law, are you okay?" Qin Wan’er asked with concern.
Xia Yanbing glared at Lin Hongzhuang, calling her a blabbermouth.
