Chapter 49 Major Transition
Zhang Shun felt a chill in his heart. Who was his father? In his life, who had he ever feared? Yet, when it came to Xia Yanbing, he turned pale with fright. Even his elder brother, whose hands were pierced through, dared not reveal who they were up against, which showed how serious the situation was.
He quickly took out his phone and stepped aside to call his father.
Zhang Shun briefly recounted the situation.
"Zhang Shun, I warn you, if a single hair on Mr. Xia’s head is harmed, even I can’t save your life. I’m coming right away. Before I get there, you must do everything to calm Mr. Xia down, or else our Zhang Family is doomed." Zhang Wenhao shouted furiously on the other end, and Zhang Shun could hear the trembling in his father’s voice.
Not until Zhang Wenhao hung up the phone did Zhang Shun come back to his senses, and cold sweat started dripping from his forehead. If Xia Yanbing lost even a single hair, the Zhang Family would be doomed. Zhang Shun shivered involuntarily.
"Get your filthy hands off!" Zhang Shun returned and yelled.
"Master Zhang, these two women are not behaving. You mustn’t let them go. I’ll have them sent to your room right away," Liang Chao said with a fawning smile, like a lapdog.
Bam!
Zhang Shun suddenly swung the wine bottle in his hand and smashed it over Liang Chao’s head. Zhang Shun wasn’t like Lin Hongzhuang, lacking strength. The bottle shattered directly, and Liang Chao screamed, hastily clutching his head, but blood still seeped through his fingers, covering his face.
Everyone was stunned, or rather, petrified.
