Chapter 32 Bitterness
Late at night, Yinfeng City Renmin Hospital, VIP hospital room.
Zhang Lin had casts on both his arms and legs. Even though the anesthetic had not worn off, the pain made him feel like he was in a nightmare. His face was twisted in agony, and his forehead was covered in sweat.
Standing in front of the bed were three people: one was an older but robust man, Zhang Lin’s father, Zhang Wenhao.
The other two were younger, around thirty years old. They were Zhang Lin’s two brothers, Zhang Hao and Zhang Shun.
"Dad, the Liu Family and Dong Family have gone too far. I’m going to send someone to grab Liu Zhanyuan’s wife and kids," Zhang Shun said, his eyes cold and venomous.
In the Zhang Family, Zhang Wenhao was semi-retired. Zhang Hao was in charge of the open affairs, while Zhang Shun controlled the underground business. As for Zhang Lin, he was just a playboy who only knew how to indulge in vices.
"Second brother, hold on. Something’s not right with this matter." Zhang Hao, who was relatively calm, said in a deep voice.
"What’s not right? Third brother got beaten up so badly. We Zhang Family have always bullied others, not the other way around. Not retaliating when someone bullies us is not our style. Kidnap Liu Zhanyuan and Dong Zhiping’s families to let them know the consequences of provoking the Zhang Family," Zhang Shun said, his face full of malice.
Zhang Hao said calmly, "Do you think the Liu Family and Dong Family are ordinary people? We don’t match their power in the open, and if the two families join forces, our Zhang Family won’t stand a chance. Zhang Shun, emitting a cold aura, fell silent.
