Chapter 1725: The Ruined Dragon Island
"What’s going on with Lang Ya?"
They waited for a while, and seeing that Lang Ya still hadn’t come out of the Absolute Domain, they couldn’t help but feel a bit worried.
Qin Yi smiled, "Don’t worry! That Netherworld General is no match for Lang Ya."
"How do you know?"
"Because he doesn’t have an Absolute Domain. If he were a powerful being with an Absolute Domain, he wouldn’t have been so shocked when Lang Ya activated his." Qin Yi looked at Yun Mengyao with a look of disdain, "Often, you need to use your brain more."
"Ugh, you’re the one without a brain," Yun Mengyao retorted, glaring back, "If you’re so great, then why don’t you take a look at how Lang Ya’s fight is going right now?"
Qin Yi rolled his eyes, "No matter how great I am, I can’t see through an Absolute Domain. Do you know what an Absolute Domain is? In his own space, Lang Ya is a God, the absolute ruler. If outsiders could see through it, it wouldn’t be called an Absolute Domain. I say you’re brainless, yet you have to show off."
"You’re the one who’s brainless, everything in your head is about Silver Sister’s body, all indecent."
Qin Yi’s mouth twitched; how did they end up discussing this?
"I just looked, so what? Silver Qianqian didn’t say anything, so why are you so worked up? Do you also want to look? You pervert."
"You’re the pervert, looking at Silver Sister’s body and still being so shameless. You’re just a wolf in human skin."
Qin Yi decided to go all out, "I think you’re just jealous."
"I’m also a woman; Silver Sister has what I have, so what do I have to be jealous about?"
"You’re not as big as hers."
"You..." Yun Mengyao instinctively covered her chest, glaring at Qin Yi warily, "When did you sneak a peek, you lecher?"
Qin Yi looked at her disdainfully, "What are you dreaming about? This doesn’t even require sneaking a peek; you can tell from the outside... But I do envy you, having your own ’airport’ at such a young age."
"You’re the one with an airport, your whole family is an airport," Yun Mengyao was infuriated, "I keep it restrained to defend against lechers like you. Besides, what’s so good about being big? It’s not like you can enjoy it."
Qin Yi was stunned, giving a thumbs up, "You make a good point. Seems like you’ve admitted you’re small."
"Tch, what does it matter to you? It’s not like you get to touch them."
"Then you can touch them yourself."
"You... scoundrel, shameless, pervert, scum, utterly shameless..."
Qin Yi covered his ears, "Not listening, not listening, turtle chanting scriptures."
Yin Qianqian was amused by their argument. The two of them bickering was no different from children having a spat.
Just then, a crack suddenly appeared in the sky, and a blood-stained figure flew out and crashed onto the ground.
Immediately after, Lang Ya flashed into appearance.
Qin Yi glanced at the blood-stained Netherworld General, who had already lost his breath, as dead as can be.
Raging flames of anger burned in Lang Ya’s eyes, murderous intent overflowing.
Qin Yi asked with concern, "Are you alright?"
Lang Ya’s voice was low, "The Dragon Clan was exterminated by the Netherworld Clan."
Qin Yi slightly raised his sword-like eyebrows, something he had guessed long ago. He knew Lang Ya had also long suspected this. But the extermination of their clan, such anger and pain, was not something that could be resolved by merely killing a few Netherworld Clansmen. He could understand Lang Ya’s current feelings.
Qin Yi did not say much. The deep-seated hatred was insurmountable, and consolation was pointless. He patted Lang Ya’s shoulder, "Don’t worry, with me here, together we will destroy the Netherworld Clan."
Yin Qianqian added, "And us too."
Lang Ya silently nodded.
Qin Yi asked, "Back then, were you really the only Dragon Clan member to escape?"
Lang Ya took a deep breath, exhaled slowly, and said in a deep voice, "I don’t know, this person didn’t know much either."
"Then wait until we charge into the Netherworld Clan and you can ask them yourself. The truth will eventually come to light."
"By the way, do you know what these people came to Dragon Island for?"
Lang Ya looked at him, obviously unaware.
Qin Yi said, "I just interrogated them. These people came to Dragon Island to obtain Dragon Blood."
Lang Ya’s gaze turned cold.
Qin Yi said, "Right now, you have no time to be sad. After avenging your clan, there will be plenty of time for mourning."
Lang Ya silently nodded, his voice slightly hoarse as he whispered, "I will definitely eradicate the Netherworld Clan to avenge my people."
Once Lang Ya calmed down, he began to walk forward.
Qin Yi and the others followed.
Today’s Dragon Island was no longer the prosperous place it once was; all that remained were ruins and desolation.
Lang Ya’s voice was low, "You absolutely cannot imagine that back then, Dragon Island was suspended in the air, an aerial fairy island."
"I still remember the sight of the clansmen flying above Dragon Island. The Dragon Clan was so powerful back then, yet has ended up in such a state now."
"Do you see that cave? That was Uncle Black’s lair. I went in there once, inside was lined with gold and silver treasures, almost filling the entire cave. Uncle Black liked to sleep on it, saying it was very comfortable."
"Every Dragon had a unique personality. Uncle Black was a powerful Black Dragon who loved shiny things, so he collected a lot of treasure. Thinking about it now, it’s probably all gone."
Qin Yi shook his head regretfully; that lair was absurdly large, filled with gold and jewels, a truly terrifying fortune.
Yun Mengyao gave him a sidelong glance, muttering, "Looks like you’re back to your old ways."
Qin Yi rolled his eyes; he was just an ordinary person.
At this moment, Lang Ya turned back to look at him and said, "If Uncle Black were still alive, he would definitely become your confidant; you both love wealth and share the same hobby."
Qin Yi’s mouth twitched. Are you complimenting me?
Dragon Island was vast, and out of respect, everyone proceeded on foot.
Lang Ya reminisced about the glory of Dragon Island along the way.
This little Dragon pup had removed all masks, usually economical with words, now chattering like an old lady, nonstop.
But Qin Yi and the others listened quietly, able to feel Lang Ya’s sorrow.
A thousand years apart, upon returning, everything had changed.
Yun Mengyao’s eyes were slightly red. She felt similarly; returning home to discover her parents brutally murdered, the sadness and helplessness were enough to drive one mad.
She glanced at Qin Yi, her eyes showing gratitude. If not for Qin Yi’s company, she might have collapsed back then.
"Look, that’s the Dragon Emperor’s lair."
Following Lang Ya’s direction, Qin Yi and the others gazed and were slightly taken aback, seeing a massive cave hundreds of meters away.
Along the way, they had seen nothing but caves.
"Why didn’t you build structures?" Yun Mengyao curiously asked.
Lang Ya replied, "Dragons are born with a love for freedom, roaming the Void, not liking being confined, so they live in natural caves."
"Back then, above Dragon Island, the Dragon Emperor used power to condense a platform as large as the island itself. It was the favorite place for my people to sunbathe, sleep, sometimes for decades, even a century. But now, that platform is gone."
