Chapter 196: NO ONE CAN HURT HER
"What exactly happened?" Catherine asked curiously.
Aristia let out a breath.
"I was trying to feel the connection with Millie, and ended up in this white space. I saw Millie inside big chains." While speaking, she kept her eyes fixed on Wilson to know which part of what happened to her was normal or at least common.
"The white room changed to hills. When I climbed down, there was a meadow. I walked through it and saw a cave. When I entered the cage, this overprotective fire-spitting troll the same size as me shows up, calls himself the guardian of the cave, and starts chasing me around because apparently, I’m a ’trespasser’." She rolled her eyes.
"A fire-spitting troll?" Catherine repeated, looking like she wasn’t sure whether to laugh or be concerned. Trolls were only told about in folktales and fables.
Wilson, though, looked more concerned and stunned than anything else.
Adeline looked confused, and Owen had a straight face, watching Wilson’s reaction to determine whether Aristia’s words were normal or not.
Wilson’s reaction made Aristia a bit uneasy, but she continued, giving a rough summary of what happened.
"A troll?!" Catherine asked incredulously when she figured Aristia wasn’t joking about seeing a troll, glancing at Wilson just like Owen to see if it was normal.
From her husband’s expression, it wasn’t.
Her curiousity changed to concern and unease.
