Chapter 192: TRAPPED MILLIE
Aristia could see the light ball in the midst of darkness, but her eyes were still closed.
It seemed what was happening now was in her subconscious mind. It was a bit like it was her imagination, but not quite.
She could tell that it wasn’t just her imagination; the light ball was really there. It was a somewhat strange sensation. She could see the ball with her eyes ’open’ but her eyes weren’t really open.
It was like she was back in that space where she had appeared before Millie was formed.
And she was right to think so because the surroundings were also dark, just like that place.
The light ball was not moving, just bouncing lightly in the air. Aristia even thought that its bouncing was anticipating; somewhat eager.
Without much thought, she stretched out her hand and touched the light ball, and just like before, the same thing happened; light spread out abruptly from the ball and illuminated the room.
She opened her eyes, but she was no longer in her room. The dark, empty space was nowhere in sight. Instead, she found herself in a white space. Millie wasn’t with her either and neither was the ball of light.
Aristia furrowed her brows and stood up from the ground.
Suddenly, the hairs on the back of her neck rose and her pupils contracted.
[What’s that?!]
