Chapter 185: LETTER FROM WADE
"I’m actually quite free. We haven’t attended any tea parties as a family lately. Only mama has been attending her friends’ tea parties." Aristia muttered to herself as she stroked Millie’s soft furry body.
Aristia felt that life was peaceful now that there were no tea parties bugging her. But she also felt that it also wasn’t as entertaining.
To her, it was interesting to watch the silent battles between the aristocracy. It served as a source of entertainment for her.
She wasn’t the only one. There were many in the aristocracy who also found it very interesting.
Just as Aristia was thinking that, Adeline came toward her.
Adeline’s eyes landed on the daemon that was still in her fox form and that lay beside Aristia on the bed.
The daemon didn’t react when she entered as she had more or less gotten used to those around her human and knew they weren’t threats.
"Princess, a letter arrived from the young master of Marquis Oswalt."
[Have I jinxed myself?] Aristia thought with exasperation before the words from Adeline registered in her mind.
[From Wade? This is a first.]
Wade had never sent her a letter before even though he had come to her mansion more than a few times and could be considered a friend.
