Chapter 95: GAME OF LOVE
"Hah! You wouldn’t have let me go? What would you have done— run crying and complaining to your mama?"
[Do you think the queen would let you off if she found out what you just said to her daughter?] Aristia rolled her eyes.
They ignored her and continued moving forward, only to hear,
"Spoilt brat!" The woman spat, folding her arms with a sneer. The child was speaking like this, she was clearly a spoilt child.
Their steps paused.
Serina turned around. "What did you call me?"
The woman raised her chin, as if she wanted to see what they would do. Her gaze on the only adult with the children, Adeline, was condescending too.
Not only Serina, but the rest of them were angry. How dare this woman call Serina spoilt and a brat?
In the king’s family of five, Serina was the baby of the palace as the third and last child, even though in the royal family as a whole, Aristia was the baby as the youngest girl and Alaric as the youngest boy.
She got whatever she wanted without question, and although she was a bit fancy and girly and picky and demanding, she wasn’t a brat nor was she spoilt. The king and Queen disciplined their children properly.
Seeing that things were about to get out of control as Serina was burning with anger and so were her siblings and cousins, Owen felt the need to remind them that it wasn’t proper to get angry.
