Chapter 102: savior
He tilted his head slightly upward, the muscles of his arm clearly delineated as he tied up his loose hair, the red mole on his nose emitting a cool light. From Xu Si’s perspective, she could only see his drooping eyes from the side, unable to discern the emotions on his face.
The boxing ring was not like the Underground City; there were no seats and no spectators. Besides the vast Octagonal Cage, there was just some professional training equipment around. Xu Si didn’t disturb his enthusiasm, leaning against the door and quietly watching his... great physique... no, the boxing match.

Xu Si turned pale, her eyes widening in shock as she stared at the caved-in metal, her mind buzzing. Was this for real? If that punch had landed on a person... could they still be alive?
Her heart skipped a beat as she suppressed her worry. No one would joke with their own life, she tried to tell herself, but the thought clearly lacked conviction. Pei Zhen was exactly the kind of person who loved to joke with his own life. A headache.
Xu Si frowned delicately, still unsure whether to call out to Pei Zhen. Hei Shi walked over and handed her a bottle of water. "Sister-in-law, don’t worry, the boss knows what he’s doing."
"Thank you."
Xu Si took the water, her cool face still showing concern as she continued to watch, calm yet hesitant.
In just that short amount of time, Pei Zhen flipped the giant by raising his leg at a bizarre angle, his hand, wrapped in bandages, tightly gripping the giant’s throat.
