But the man’s words sounded certain; he couldn’t possibly mistake his own name. Xu Si felt a jolt in her mind.
Could Chen Mo have mistaken the person?
"Then who are you?" Xu Si forced herself to remain calm and, smiling, curved her upturned peach-blossom eyes. She cautiously added, "You don’t have to use your real name; a code name will do. I need some way to address you."
Hei Shi was clearly a code name.
She remembered that he had asked the same question last time, and the man had not answered her, so she tried a different approach this time.
The silver-haired man was not completely silent either.
He propped his forehead with an air of arrogance, a silver ribbon mysteriously covering most of his face. He tilted his head slightly toward her, his voice cool. "Miss Xu, should I compliment you on your courage? You dare to come home with me without even knowing who I am."
It was impossible to tell from his tone whether he was happy or angry.
It sounded like teasing.
But he finally answered Xu Si’s question.
"Fei Yi."
