"Hey, I knew a big man like him couldn’t possibly know how to cook." The person had an epiphany and then hungrily eyed the tasty-looking food in Lu Tingli’s pot. "However, Captain Lu, your childhood friend’s cooking smells so good, it must be delicious. Captain Lu, why don’t you share a little with me?"
"Dream on." Lu Tingli shot them a cold glare. "If you want to eat, have your own wife make it!"
"Hahaha, you heard him, go have your wife cook it!" Upon hearing this, the audience immediately joined in the teasing, dispersing with a sense of tact. Lu Tingli held a higher rank than them and was not someone they could afford to offend easily.
Once they had gone some distance, someone couldn’t help but sigh, "Why is Captain Lu’s childhood friend making him so much food? Could it be that the two of them are secretly dating?"
