"I’m fine now, I just want some peace and quiet," Nan Fei’s voice was cold, hoarse, completely different from the person who was in pain just before.
"Alright! Everyone, please leave; the patient needs quiet," the attending physician said sternly as she ushered everyone out.
Only after the room had quieted down did she close the door and take a seat by the bed.
