Chapter 1195 - 1194: Kneeling Down
Tang Qian was stunned too. She had come along because she was worried and didn’t want to stir up more trouble. But that did not mean she could allow her cherished child, raised from infancy, to kneel before a person she despised most.
"Wei An, what are you doing? Are you crazy?" Tang Qian burst out angrily, "Get up right now."
Wei An remained kneeling, his eyes stealthily glancing at Tang Qian, feeling a relentless sense of triumph in his heart. It seemed this method was indeed the right one, only this way could he regain his mother’s attention.
If he personally knelt and apologized to the person his mother despised the most, only then would his mother’s heart soften.
Having realized this, Wei An looked into Jiang Yang’s eyes with undisguised provocation, but since he was the closest to Jiang Yang, no one else noticed.
"Jiang Yang, I beg you, I’m kneeling before you, please don’t take my dad away, okay? My brother is the nicest to you now, much more than to me, his little brother. I’ve already lost my brother, please don’t take my dad away too," Wei An cried bitterly, incessantly kowtowing to Jiang Yang.
Yet, Jiang remained standing as before, his hands tightly clenched into fists, his body tense.
"Jiang, I know I was wrong, I was too reckless before. I apologize to you, I’m kowtowing to you. I can even give you my brother, but please, I beg you, don’t take my dad away." The force Wei An used was so great that his forehead bled, the striking red frightening many onlookers.
Tang Qian’s heart softened at the sight, and she hurriedly came over to pull Wei An up, but despite having slimmed down, Wei An was surprisingly strong. No matter how Tang Qian pulled, he refused to get up, instead kowtowing even harder.
The thud of his kowtows made the onlookers’ eyes redden with pity.
