“Commander, did sister-in-law leave in anger?”

Ning Di felt a tinge of sympathy gazing at the commander’s face flickering between shades of green and white. “Don’t worry! Once you see her at school the day after tomorrow, just coax her, and it will all be fine.”
“What nonsense are you speaking?” Huo Beijiang retorted angrily. “What do you mean by coax her until she’s fine? She’s the one who doesn’t trust me. Am I the one in the wrong?” He spoke as though he was always the one who placated others.

As long as you’re happy. Let’s see who ends up coaxing whom after all.
Huo Beijiang stood to leave, but was pulled back by Ning Di.
“Commander, you can’t go.”
Only then did Huo Beijiang remember that Yu Xiaoxiao and the others were still waiting for him at Jilan Mountain! His handsome face grew even grimmer, and he finally spat out coldly after much restraint, “Tell them to pass the message for me. From now on, non-family female soldiers are not allowed in the family quarters. Not even one step!”

Nan Fei had returned late last night, seething with rage and couldn’t sleep all night. She swore to herself that she would make someone pay for it this time.
The next day, getting up early and yawning, Nan Fei prepared to take Jiang Yang to school to check out the situation. As soon as she came out of the restroom after freshening up, Jiang Yang, already changed into a new outfit, came running into her room.

As Jiang Yang could now speak Wei Qin’s name well, hearing it being mentioned, he nodded earnestly.
Expectedly, by the time the siblings stepped out, Wei Qin’s car was already parked outside. Little Wang was in the driver’s seat with Wei Qin sitting in the passenger seat.

“No need to mention it!” Wei Qin replied, leaning on one hand and his eyes closed in rest. The sound of Nan Fei’s voice didn’t even make him blink, instead, he responded courteously.
Once the siblings got into the car, Little Wang started the engine and they headed for school.
The journey was short, a mere ten minutes by car. Upon arriving, Nan Fei discovered that this was the Imperial City’s First Batch of Foreign Language School, furthermore, it was the highest grade. Also, only a top-tier school like this would have special classes set up for problem children.
Today was the day for student interviews, so there were many students and parents coming and going. Judging by their clothing, they were at least from middle-class families.
