Chapter 202: Settling Accounts
After much thought, Ah Da suddenly felt a surge of defiance. Why did she have absolutely no resistance last night?
Could it have been because of the drinking?
Ah Da knocked on her head twice, regretting her decision to throw caution to the wind and drink to bolster her courage. She hadn’t counted on the red wine being so potent, getting drunk off just two glasses—perhaps her alcohol tolerance was just too low.
In any event, the best-laid plans often go awry.
After dawdling for half an hour, Qin Yu came to knock on the door. Ah Da pulled two tissues to dry her face and responded to Qin Yu, telling him to come in as she didn’t want to move from her spot.
Mainly because her legs were so sore and achy. Just moving around a little while ago almost did her in; she was resigned to her fate.
Qin Yu walked in and the young lady immediately reached out to him, obediently letting him hold her, a soft and fragrant bundle in his arms.
This actually surprised him, as he couldn’t figure out what she was thinking. Her attitude toward him was different one moment to the next.
Stepping out of the small living room, Ah Da wrapped one hand around Qin Yu’s neck and the other hand over her mouth to yawn.
"Still sleepy? Do you want to keep sleeping?" Qin Yu set her down on the sofa and poured her a glass of water, bringing it to her lips.
