During dinner with Chairman Kang Hak-jung, Tae-seo talked about his trip to the seaside.
“I could hear the sound of the waves really well.”
He had gone to meet him to show that he returned safely—so it wouldn’t seem like a concern that he had traveled while being heavily pregnant. Tae-seo’s parents were overseas on a business trip, and Kang Se-heon’s parents said they were busy with what was happening tomorrow.
“Next time, let’s go together with Grandpa.”
“Yes, let’s do that.”
Chairman Kang Hak-jung placed a side dish on top of Tae-seo’s rice.
“Are you all ready to meet Blessing?”
“The room is already all set up, and I’ve been going to the hospital regularly.”
Everything was prepared well. The room was filled with baby products he had collected from the department store and other nearby shopping malls, and whatever was missing, Kang Se-heon personally went out and bought.
A crib, a reflux-prevention cushion, hand towels, diapers, a rattle, swaddle blankets, even a stroller—so much that it wouldn’t feel lacking even if the baby got up and started toddling around right away.
As Tae-seo nodded and thought of the room, Kang Se-heon spoke.
He could feel Kang Se-heon’s gaze slowly sweeping over him. At that look, Tae-seo closed his eyes like it tickled. When he looked at him like that, he couldn’t help but smile.
