Chapter 101
Thinking about how priceless her nephew’s panicked face would be, Han Mi-sun couldn’t suppress the curve of her lips. She wasn’t sure if negotiations would go smoothly when she was in such a giddy mood—but who cared. Considering everything she’d endured until now, she just wanted to laugh her guts out in front of Kang Se-heon.
“Once you see it, it’ll be hard to refuse. Are you sure you’re okay with that?”
“I’ll decide after I see it. But if I don’t accept it, you need to understand the responsibility you’ll be carrying, Aunt.”
“Oh my, you worrying about me is bringing me to tears.”
Han Mi-sun actually dabbed at the corners of her eyes, as if tears were really coming out. Of course, they were tears brimming purely from euphoria. She was genuinely enjoying this moment.
“It can’t be helped, then.”
Han Mi-sun picked up her phone and made a call somewhere. Perhaps that was the signal—because a sound of someone grabbing the doorknob rang out.
As Kang Se-heon turned to look, the door opened.
Two unfamiliar men walked in, followed by Kang In-hyuk. His lip was split, and In-hyuk turned his head, avoiding Se-heon’s gaze.
Watching her sturdy son, Han Mi-sun smiled and addressed the men.
“Show the evidence, please.”
She didn’t doubt for a second that her plan had gone exactly as intended. But the men hesitated and didn’t pull anything out.
