Chapter 96
“Do you mind waiting here for a moment?”
Outside the restaurant, Kim Mi-kyung said she was going to take a call. Tae-seo told her to take her time and that he’d wait here, but she didn’t move right away.
“In-hyuk, shouldn’t you be heading back in?”
“You go ahead and make your call.”
Though she was subtly telling In-hyuk he could go, he subtly refused just the same. Kim Mi-kyung looked like she didn’t know what to do for a moment, but with time pressing, she finally walked away, phone in hand.
Left alone, Tae-seo began tapping the ground with the tip of his foot.
“You know why I joined as an intern, right?”
“You said something like you were going to shake Se-heon-hyung up.”
He remembered exactly—but didn’t show it.
“That won’t take long. But before that, how about I catch you on the day you’re shaken?”
“In-hyuk, why would I catch you? You need to find your own footing.”
Tae-seo shook his head.
