As soon as Han Mi-sun sat down, Seo Eun-hee pressed her, asking sharply.
“Sister-in-law, you made a seat arrangement for me without even telling me. How could you do that?”
“It’s an important matter, so I thought I’d come and tell you directly.”
Han Mi-sun smiled nonchalantly and placed her handbag beside her. In that short span of time, her words reached Seo Eun-hee’s ears, but Han Mi-sun acted as if it were no big deal. She had deliberately called them to a hotel café where many people, including Kang Se-heon and Jung Hae-jin, passed through. She wanted others to see and gossip about it.
“You should have seen the two of them together. They look perfect for each other. My judgment was spot on.”
Han Mi-sun continued, describing the two she had just seen, as she settled into her seat. Meanwhile, Seo Eun-hee, before speaking to her, felt somewhat awkward at the actions Han Mi-sun had deliberately set up. She had been acting overly insistent on finding a match for her son, but now, it seemed she had really gone too far.
“Next time, you don’t have to go that far.”
“Oh? Do you still believe Se-heon will find someone on his own? You’re just going to wait?”
Han Mi-sun, sipping the coffee that had been brought to her, widened her eyes in surprise at the question. From her expression, it almost seemed like she thought Seo Eun-hee had no interest at all in her son’s future.
“By the time you wait, it’ll be too late. How long will Se-heon stay young? He should find a partner as soon as possible.”
“Hah... Sister-in-law, I’m telling you, Se-heon will figure it out on his own.”
“You’re so relaxed about it.”
