Chapter 54
As Kang Se-heon stepped out of the meeting, his secretary quickly approached from behind and pressed the elevator button. With a mechanical sound, the elevator doors slid open, and Kang Se-heon stepped inside first, followed closely by his secretary. Once the doors shut and the elevator began its descent, the secretary checked his phone and shared the latest update he had just received.
“It seems that Wonha Electronics was indeed planning to use KH’s distribution network.”
“Yeah. If that weren’t the case, there’s no way Wonha would have agreed to work with them so easily.”
He had been curious about why Wonha Electronics had chosen to side with his uncle. Kang Se-heon had been considering what conditions Wonha had proposed, so he sent his secretary to confirm whether his assumptions were correct. Now, seeing that his prediction had been spot on, his secretary couldn’t help but ask.
“How did you know?”
Without shifting his gaze from the decreasing numbers on the elevator display, Kang Se-heon answered in a calm murmur.
“Something Wonha doesn’t have, but KH Mart does. The fact that Wonha is willing to take on a project with no business viability just to gain access to KH Mart. It’s obvious, isn’t it?”
With Kang Se-heon’s explanation, the secretary nodded in understanding.
“The one area where Wonha Electronics has always lagged behind us—the web of distribution spread throughout this country. They need that to launch their new product.”
“Then shouldn’t we stop them?”
“I don’t know. Do you think we can, when my uncle is pushing this hard?”
Kang Se-heon had already given up, assuming it was impossible.
