Monsters Are Coming

Chapter 1643 - 416: Leave? Leave! Internet Cafe Private Session (Monthly Ticket Request)_5

But that thought flashed by and was rejected by it immediately.

No need. Absolutely no need.

It knew very well that the players had planted countless eyes throughout the Emperor Tomb Mountain Range; its every move was basically under their surveillance.

Players are bastards, but they’re never stupid.

Most of the time, they can even see through the traps it painstakingly lays with a single glance.

The key is, even if they see through them, they still choose to jump in.

For example, back then when it disguised itself as a player, thinking it was flawless and perfect, it was still seen through at a glance.

Whether players follow or not has nothing to do with risk and everything to do with profit.

As for death, beast players obviously don’t care.

As long as there’s profit, they’ll dare to probe with countless deaths.

So it chose the simplest and most effective method: do nothing at all.

Activating the Teleportation Array was enough to put on the posture of marching out.

The players will get it, and the Insect Race will get it too.

That is enough.

In that moment, the three "evil" forces of the Emperor Tomb Mountain Range temporarily set aside their mutual slaughter and merged into a single Destructive Torrent.

Evil Spirits chilling, the Insect Race ferocious, the players defiant—three sides standing tall, a killing cold sweeping across the land.

Three completely different kinds of Momentum intertwined, unfolding before the Teleportation Array like a scroll as their numbers swelled.

Ultimately forming a three-way standoff.

From high above, it looked like three Fierce Beasts about to break their shackles, starting their daily pre-war show of force.

On the Insect Race side, billions of shells scraped with a harsh "ka-ka" sound, merging into a terrifying noise field.

Shrill screeches rose and fell, releasing a craving for Destruction; the waves of sound converged into a single meaning: annihilate, crush.

In the direction of the Evil Spirit Surge, it was a different Hellscape entirely.

Countless twisted, blurred silhouettes in the boiling black fog let out low Roars, laced with endless whispers of spiritual contamination.

As for the players’ camp, it erupted in mountain-shaking, sea-roaring shouts and Roars; they bellowed at the top of their lungs with no meaning at all, just wanting to out-volume the Insect Race and the Black Tide.

The three kinds of sound fused into a terrifying wave that tore through the clouds.

The Earth Thought Evil Spirit atop the Tower no longer held back; upon the Tower’s peak, it sent out a spiritual Summoning toward the Evil Moon.

The next instant, wind and clouds changed color.

The Space beneath the Evil Moon twisted violently as twenty-eight massive, diverse yet equally terrifying phantom silhouettes appeared one after another in the sky, like Demon Gods stepping out of the Abyss to reveal their projections.

They were the twenty-eight members of the Evil Spirit Alliance, each an Evil Spirit Warrior anchored at different nodes across the Pale Continent.

Above or behind each phantom, an Assistant Eye of varying size, sharing the same Source as the Evil Eye, hovered in the air.

These Assistant Eyes swept coldly over the battlefield below; there was not a trace of emotion in their pupils—their very design was that of ice-cold information-processing machines.

In this moment, the "Bully Alliance" the players liked to call them had fully descended.

The twenty-eight phantoms shrank rapidly as they fell, finally stopping above the Tower platform, arrayed behind the Earth Thought Evil Spirit.

Their overwhelming ferocity linked with the Strength of the Earth Thought Evil Spirit, becoming a tangible Dark sky-curtain that almost shrouded the entire heavens over the Emperor Tomb Mountain Range.

The twenty-nine Assistant Eyes, with the Evil Eye as their core, initiated spiritual docking; the Perception range and processing efficiency skyrocketed exponentially.

A vast field of Suppression surged out in all directions like a tsunami.

At the same time, different Evil Spirits’ voices sounded within the Spirit Network.

"Earth Thought Boss, we’re here. I’ve checked the old situation with the Monument Abyss Clan—this time we’ll get your revenge for sure."

"Luck’s been good lately; I just took in a new Rule and used it to forge a brand-new Rule Army—perfect for using the Monument Abyss Clan as practice dummies."

"The Monument Abyss Clan is finished. Let’s wreck them."

"The beast players and beast Insect Race are here too. The Monument Abyss Clan is dead meat—fuck them up."

Faced with his allies’ surging War Intent, the Earth Thought Evil Spirit’s Spiritual Wave instantly crushed all the clamor:

"This battle, the objective is clear: break the Monument Abyss Clan, seize their resources, and sever the roots of their civilization."

"All armies enter the Teleportation Array according to the pre-set sequence; maintain formation and avoid clashing with players or the Insect Race too early."

"The Evil Eye will coordinate the whole field; all Assistant Eyes will synchronize battlefield data."

As the boss of the Bully Alliance, the Earth Thought Evil Spirit’s will was like an invisible scepter, instantly unifying every Evil Spirit’s pace.

They responded one after another.

The twenty-eight Evil Spirit phantoms flared with light, and the Assistant Eyes behind them projected their will into the Evil Moon, which then relayed it back down to the Tower nodes they controlled.

At once, the Energy from twenty-eight nodes arrived in a heartbeat.

One dark beam after another dropped from the Evil Moon’s center like spears of divine wrath, precisely pouring into the Evil Eye Tower.

The Tower shuddered violently; every Rune on its surface lit up in sequence, shedding a dim glow that seemed capable of devouring all light.

Under the Evil Eye’s Control, the Tower’s body turned into a bottomless black hole, ravenously drawing in this terrifying Strength gathered from the entire Alliance.

The Evil Eye Tower’s form began to undergo a metamorphosis.

The Tower became thicker and more jagged, like a twisted giant’s spine thrusting up from the ground.

Countless black barbs bulged from its surface, while a massive phantom of the Evil Eye appeared above the Tower’s tip, its pupil igniting Fiery Flames of the Black Tide.

The whole Tower seemed to come alive, turning into an Ancient Beast crouched upon the earth, its savagery and dominance in full display.

...

Seeing the Bully Alliance on the scene, the players present immediately knew the Earth Thought Bully was going all in.

Given what they knew of the Earth Thought Bully, for an ordinary campaign the Bully would never activate the "five-stack internet café queue" advanced mode: internet café full-booking mode.

The war clouds had already gathered over the sky.

The horns of Conquest had already sounded.
