Standing in front of the Crystal Wall, Qi Sheng’s gaze swept over the contained Primordial Monsters.
Just this morning, a new member was added to the containment wall.
Currently, in containment cells 1-12, there are the following monsters held: stone-statue ghost (Petrification), Eagle-Headed Demon (Resentful Chant), Black Armored Snake (Fierce Poison), Bone Fire (Ink Flame), Power Barbarian, Shattering, Sweep, Soul Separation, Nether Ghost, Taunt, Dusk Shadow (Shadow Transformation), and Light Shield.
Most of these Primordial Monsters are named after their abilities.
The creature contained in the twelfth cell, Light Shield, resembling a cloud, has a Hunting Level of 3, and was a surprise acquisition by a Solo Player exploring the Blood-Colored Plain.
The ability trait of Light Shield allows it to construct a freely adjustable energy shield using spiritual power, resisting various types of attacks.
After Light Shield Life Soul was contained, it attracted a large number of players for evaluation, and the Player Forum considered it another suitable choice for the long-range Star Vein School.
The combination of Eagle-Headed Demon + Bone Fire provides strong long-range strikes and sustained damage capabilities, but lacks survival tactics, as neither the Eagle-Headed Demon nor Bone Fire are defensive or melee type Life Souls, showing a significant disparity compared to Life Souls like Black Armored Snake or stone-statue ghost at the same level.
The appearance of Light Shield made players who initially chose the Eagle-Headed Demon very happy, believing that Light Shield Life Soul could compensate for their lack of defense.
However, compared to these, Qi Sheng was most concerned about the sacrificial power gain.
