Becoming an assassin for Qingyi Building to complete an assassination mission was just a minor episode on Jiang Dali’s journey to unify the Green Forest Road.

Over these two days,
two groups of players had already returned prematurely.
These groups had, of course, been killed outright and respawned at the nearby City God Temple, from where they took a carriage back to the village.
Another team, led by Huakai Jianhong and Li Jianfeng, hadn’t been sent back for free; through messages delivered by carrier pigeon, Jiang Dali learned that they had achieved decent interim results and these two teams of players would also return by tomorrow at the latest.
"So it seems the Great Masters of Tuoshui Mountain Village and Chongfeng Mountain Village don’t respect this village chief at all."
In the council hall, Jiang Dali sat in the main seat, his gaze indifferent as he looked at the two groups of players reporting to him.
"That’s right, village chief, we died miserably. I think that short Great Master of Tuoshui Mountain Village didn’t take you seriously at all. You have to stand up for us!"
"Those bastards from Chongfeng Mountain Village are also blind fools, hitting a dog but overlooking its master; and we’re not dogs, we’re your beloved subordinates. Chief, it’s a disgrace to you that we were killed."
