The Tesla Domain was silent.
No one had expected that this would be the outcome of the war between the royal family and the academy.
Many were expecting a catastrophic collision between the forces of the royal family and the academy.
When the royal family appeared on Red Tide Island, and their fighting force was revealed, everyone thought it would be the academy’s loss.
But what had just occurred had overturned everyone’s worldview.
The royal family had lost.

No one from the academy’s side had died.

Kailen Darkhaven. The Mad Tactician.

But from the conversation he had with the higher-ups of the royal family before they died, it was clear that he was behind everything.
And everyone understood the basics of the plan he had engineered.

He was not only outside the Venzula Empire, planning several steps ahead of the royal family and orchestrating these events, he was literally outside the Tesla Domain.
Each of the five empires knew he was not in their territory, neither was he outside their borders.
He was not in the Venzula Empire too.
So his words were true.
This was too terrifying.
Kailen Darkhaven did not have to always be on a battlefield to win.
He only needed to have chess pieces to move around to his advantage from wherever he was.
He was like an overlord pulling invisible strings from behind the scenes, looking down on everyone like they were puppets.
Years ago, he had demonstrated his uncanny mastery over the principle of space, slaughtering several geniuses from different academies of different empires in a competition across the Tesla Domain.
But now, he had cemented his reputation as the most dangerous tactician to have ever graced the Tesla Domain.
Many could not help but feel fear in their hearts. From one empire to another. Everyone had to admit that this fellow could not be antagonized.
This fellow had caused three rank 1 intermediate stage Transcendents to die without using a single fighting force of the academy.
He had caused the deaths of all the troupes of the royal family full of novice stage Transcendents, ranging from rank 4 to rank 7, just like that.
It looked like something simple. But when one sat down and thought it through, and considered how something like this could have been possible, one would realise Kailen Darkhaven was an unpredictable, mysterious, and dangerous madman, who would go to every extent to get rid of his enemies.
If he didn’t have the combat prowess to eliminate you, that did not mean eliminating you was impossible.
Mental notes were made . Every Empire and organisation across the Tesla Domain made mental notes to never offend this mad man.
No wonder he had earned himself the name The Mad Tactician in the light region before he became a Transcendent and came to the chaotic region.
The event that had happened on Red Tide Island was referred to as The Red Tide Massacre.
In the year 430009 of the universal calendar of the chaotic region of the universe, The Red Tide Massacre occurred, at the hands of The Mad Tactician, Kailen Darkhaven.
It was documented in the historical archives of Tesla Domain.
Even if Kailen Darkhaven left the Tesla Domain in the future, never to return, because of this feat alone, transcendents that would come to the Tesla Domain would hear his name whispered in reverence and fear.

After the fall of the Royal Family, the Academy took over every resource, system, and institution the Royal family had control over.
Naturally, the powerhouses that assisted the academy during the war became key functionalities to regulate these systems and resources of the royal family.
The name Venzula Empire was changed to Darkhaven Empire. Even the Venzula Empire Academy was changed to Darkhaven Empire Academy.
Kailen did not agree with this proposition. He found this cringe.
However, the higher-ups of the academy insisted that his name be used since he was the key person to winning the war.
Kailen, however, made it clear that he did not have any intention of becoming a ruler over the Darkhaven Empire. His focus lay beyond the Darkhaven Empire. He was someone who pursued individual strength.
The higher-ups of the academy agreed. But, he was given the title of Emperor of the Darkhaven empire.
According to the academy higher-ups, this emperor title was to honor him, even though he had made it clear he wouldn’t be around to rule. Principal Luther became the Vice Rector. He would rule like the regular emperor of the Darkhaven Empire, ruling the empire in Kailen’s absence.
Kailen didn’t care about any of this. They could do what they wanted; since he wouldn’t be assuming any duties, he didn’t care what name the empire called him or what title they gave him. On the bright side, his title came with cultivation resources he could make use of to break into the rank 1 intermediate stage Transcendent level.
Several in the Tesla Domain, and Darkhaven Empire in particular, sighed.
Who would have thought that the Venzula Royal family would be completely eradicated one day, and another would replace them.
The universe was indeed dangerous and unpredictable.
Powers fell and rose day and night. And a single mistake could cost one everything.
From now on, the Venzula Royal Family and the Venzula Empire was history.
The Darkhaven Empire would be known henceforth.
Peace settled in the Darkhaven Empire, and everything in the Tesla Domain returned to normal. Everything proceeded normally.
Kailen caught up with Dawnseer, Dexter, and Lotus. He didn’t spend much time interacting with them, though. They were just acquaintances who acquainted themselves with him because of merit. Although he did not have a problem with that, he also did not see the need to invite them into his circle.
When he left the Darkhaven Empire, he may not even hear from them ever again. He was a stranger passing through the chaotic region to destroy the six vimodial seats and return home to Arrie. He didn’t see the need for attachments here.
The only person he truly considered a friend in the chaotic region was Julian.
Currently, the two were seated in a bar in the royal palace of the Darkhaven Empire, having a chat.
