Chapter 696 696. Void Supreme 4
Arrie turned. Her figure flashed. She threw herself into Kailen's arms.
"Kai," she muttered softly, "I am so proud of you."
Kailen chuckled warmly. He muttered softly as he brushed his hands through her hair. "I'm actually proud of us."
Arrie replied, "Mm."
Kailen added, "Is it my imagination or you've gotten more beautiful? Just when I thought I've seen the limits to your beauty, you blow my mind again."
Arrie smiled. "You always know which words to pick, don't you?" She planted a kiss on his lips.
Kailen gave in. The two were in their own world. It was a very touching sight. Everyone around them observed them with intrigue and admiration.
Sigh...
As expected of the hottest couple in the universe. They were so made for each other. Legoland and Uvura observed the duo and chuckled.
Kailen and Arrie finally let each other go. Many in the vicinity had already taken quiet and gleeful pictures of the Void Supreme and Her Excellency Arrie Hall. They had already posted the picture of the two sharing a kiss—a romantic moment in public—on virtual universe forums.
As for Kailen and Arrie, they joined Legoland in the palace. Kailen and Arrie found out that Legoland and Uvura were getting married very soon. Kailen and Arrie congratulated them.
Legoland said he wanted to have the wedding after Kailen's inauguration. He wanted Kailen to be the best man. Legoland and Uvura left Kailen and Arrie alone after that. They understood that after being apart for 15 years, Arrie and Kailen needed some time to catch up.
Currently, the two were seated on the beach. Arrie was relaxing in Kailen's arms. The duo were looking into the night sky. They had very happy and relaxed expressions on their faces.
"Babe," Kailen's voice turned serious. Arrie figured he had something important to say. "I'm listening, Kai."
"I will be leaving to a faraway place in the universe for a while to grow stronger. Turns out we are still not genuinely safe," Kailen said.
"You don't need to say more, Kai. I understand. I support you and I trust you," Arrie replied softly.
Warmth flooded Kailen's heart. Sometimes he felt Arrie could do better than him. Here he was about to leave her alone again after they just reunited for who knows how long—after he entered the chaotic universe—and she was gladly supporting him. He made a mental note to visit the light universe every once in a while to spend time with her.
"When it all settles, we can have our wedding and start our family like we've been dreaming of," Kailen said softly.
"Mmm. I look forward to it," Arrie said.
"It's time we head back. We need to prepare for your inauguration ceremony. I already picked up a suit for you," Arrie said.
Kailen grumbled, "A suit again?"
"Did I stutter?" Arrie chuckled, yet there was a threatening tone underneath her voice.
"No, ma'am," Kailen sighed. A bead of sweat almost appeared on his forehead. This woman could be more terrifying than vimodials. Seriously.
"You prefer hoodies and long coats, but you don't like suits? Seriously," Arrie shook her head with a smile.
Kailen brushed his hands through her hair and kissed her neck.
"Kai..."
"Kai, stop it... Kai, let's head back first..."
Kailen sighed. "Okay."
The two melded with the void and disappeared. They reappeared in Kailen's villa in the Arman Empire royal palace. They were in the bedroom of Kailen. Arrie stared at him with a puzzled expression.
"You said we should get back first, right?" Kailen shrugged. He stared at Arrie with a burning, intense gaze.
Arrie didn't reply to Kailen. She just shook her head. She had a bashful, obedient smile on her face. She was crimson all over. Truthfully, she really liked it when Kailen desired her. It gave her butterflies.
"Well, I did indeed." Arrie gave him a bashful, seductive look.
The night was long.

The universe was currently preparing for one event: the inauguration ceremony of the Void Supreme, Kailen Darkhaven.
However, another news had travelled throughout the universe that caused many to sigh in awe. Her Excellency Arrie Hall had broken into the rank 1 beginner stage universe level in just fifteen years of seclusion. This speed of breaking into the universe level was nothing remarkable compared to the speed of Kailen Darkhaven's, but it was quite preternatural—almost logic-shattering.
Many sighed. As expected of the Void Supreme's woman. She was also a monster in her own right.

UA.
General HQ region.
Currently, the Universe Alliance HQ in the High Tier Civilisations was very busy. The Great Universe Hall, a large hall spanning five galaxies, was decorated grandiosely. This was all for one event: the inauguration ceremony of the Void Supreme into the Supreme Council.
Many influential figures across the universe were currently flocking to the Great Universe Hall in droves. Each one of these persons were powerhouses who had carved a name for themselves with terrifying feats. Of course, for an event like the inauguration of a supreme, several ordinary awakeners across the universe were randomly handpicked to also attend the event. Several cried tears of joy. They were very fortunate to attend this event. Others who were not lucky to be randomly handpicked would have to watch it from streaming platforms across the universe.
Currently, Arrie and Kailen were alone in a villa in the UA general HQ. Arrie, adorned in a beautiful white dress that highlighted her figure and made her extremely elegant, was fixing Kailen's tie.
"It was only just yesterday that we were in Zanpala University, and now..." A tear of joy fell from her eyes.
Kailen chuckled. He kissed her on the forehead. "I know, babe," Kailen said. "Thank you for standing by my side all this while. Now that I think about it, had it not been for you, I would have never made any friends or had people to care about. Who would have thought that the heart-to-heart conversation we had that day in Zanpala University would bring me this far. So, thank you for everything, sweetheart."
Kailen hugged Arrie.
"Oh, Kai..." Arrie was tearing up. How fortunate she was to find such a wonderful man. Never had she felt so loved and appreciated.
"You're welcome, Kai. I wish the others, especially Charles and Michael, were out of seclusion to be here with us."
"Mm. Look on the bright side. You'll get to rub it in their face when they finally come out of seclusion in the future." Kailen winked at her.
Arrie beamed with a bubbly smile as she gave Kailen a high five. "That's true."
"Mm. It's time for us to go," Kailen said. He spotted someone was outside the door to receive them into the gathering.
"By the way, you look dashing."
"Well, thank you, my prince."
The duo stepped out of the room, hand in hand.
