A figure stepped out of thin air. This figure was naturally, Kailen.
His feet touched the ground. His gaze scanned the place.
Towering individuals with multiple legs and hands roaming the streets in chatter, bearing multiple complexions. Asuras. Individuals of other races could be seen roaming the streets and even conversing with the asuras.
Hover vehicles whizzed past the place. Billboards and ads hung above. Towering pagoda looking skyscrapers stretched into the sky for as far as the eye could see. All in all, the atmosphere was nothing unusual. Just that of a usual lively metropolis.
This was not surprising because at the moment, the civil war between the two empires had not escalated deeply. Skirmishes were still happening at the borders of the two empires, and the scale had not stretched into the metropolises of the two empires.
Kailen nodded. He didn't conceal himself. He didn't have the intention to.

As people flashed their cameras, took pictures, posted them on virtual universe forums, and conversations brewed, many saw Kailen Darkhaven quietly enter the Alchemy Association Branch.
By this time, news had already reached the head of the branch that Black Flask Darkhaven was here for reasons no one knew. Considering Kailen's prestige, there was no way she would be discourteous to him.
The image of Kailen killing a rank 1 supreme stage universe level powerhouse with some mysterious gun was still fresh on her mind. Apart from his unpredictable and tactical nature of dealing with situations, this man was dangerous even in a direct confrontation.
Quickly, the beautiful tall Asura, clad in a long robe, bolted out of her office and appeared in the lobby. Several looks of admiration, fear, and respect were already directed Kailen's way; however, none dared to approach him.
"Pleasure to meet you, Black Flask," the woman said, awe and respect in her eyes as she shook Kailen's hand and sat by him. "I am Black Flask Redsun. Head of the alchemy association sector of the capital."
Kailen nodded amiably. "Pleasure to meet you as well, Black Flask Red Sun."
The woman nodded. "I'm sure you are here for a reason. Please, can we communicate further in my office?"
Kailen simply nodded. "Please."
Under the gaze of several individuals who were wondering what kind of business the Mad Tactician had in the capital, and what specifically he wanted to discuss with one of the most powerful women in the empire, Kailen and Red Sun disappeared from the lobby.

In the office, Kailen was seated on a couch opposite Red Sun. Kailen went straight to the point.
"Black Flask, I personally came here with a request—one that I believe you can help me with."
Red Sun was a bit shocked. Why would Black Flask Darkhaven want her help? She didn't have any doubts about her feats and her strength, but the man before her was someone who defied logic in every way possible. To her, Kailen Darkhaven was an elevated figure. She could not comprehend why he would want her assistance.
However, she was a powerhouse with experience. Maintaining her composure even in the midst of shock was something ingrained in her. It was second nature.
If she managed to assist him, would the Mad Tactician not owe her a favor? Her daughter... would she not finally be able to get a cure with his skills as a Black Flask alchemist with a purity level of 99.99 percent?
Kailen naturally knew her train of thought. However, the element of surprise was that this woman had a daughter who was sick.
Interesting. This was looking better than he thought. Now, things would be easier.
"I am well aware that you are the great grandniece of the ancestor of the Asura Corrugation Empire. I wanted to have a meeting with your ancestor. I was hoping since the rumors hold that he has a soft spot for you, you could schedule a meeting between us."
When Kailen spoke, Red Sun was surprised. Why did he want to meet her ancestor? It was true, though; that man was difficult to meet. Even her uncle, the emperor, and his family could not meet him anytime they wanted to.
However, it was public news that the old man has a soft spot for her, since he was a famed Black Flask Alchemist, just like her. She had even been discipled by that old monster. But, how could she let Black Flask meet him? Meeting him alone, by herself was easy. Scheduling a meeting for someone else was not simple.
Wait... she could kill two birds with one stone. Perfect. That would work.
A glint flashed through her eyes, one Kailen noticed but was not bothered about. He mused to himself inwardly:
"She will ask me to heal her daughter first, implying that if I am able to do that, it will be a good enough reason for him to want to meet me. She's taking advantage of the situation and providing a way for me to meet him at the same time. Smart move." Kailen thought further: "Initially, I wanted to just meet him through her, but on second thought, that could have proved a bit difficult. According to what I dug about him, that old monster is assumed to be strong-headed and stubborn. It's one thing if she's meeting him alone, but letting another person meet him may not turn out well. Had he decided to not meet me, I would have simply used the emblem of Asura to draw him out and influence him to end the civil war. Although I plan to use it, this would not be the ideal method. All these thoughts had flashed through Kailen's mind in a moment.
At the moment, the Time Dilation artifact was observing Kailen from the shadow expanse. She was bored out of her mind. Watching movies had become boring these days. She decided to just observe the kid to entertain herself a bit.
She muttered to herself, "This kid is really terrifying when it comes to using his brain to handle situations. He's one of a kind."
She nodded, yawned, and returned to the television screen floating before her on a beach in the shadow expanse. Kailen naturally didn't know her thoughts because she kept these words to herself.
At the moment, Red Sun said: "Black Flask, please I have a request. No one knows about this, except my great grand uncle, the emperor, his family and my husband. It's concerning my daughter."
