Meanwhile, news of what Kailen had set out to do spread to every nook and cranny of the alchemy department.
Several students were waiting for him to make a fool of himself. It wasn’t that they were snobbish or thought lowly of Kailen.
The mission he had selected was an impossible one.
This was a berserk-level mission. This meant that it was impossible and had a high fatality rate if care was not taken.
Some senior students even started placing bets on him to see how long it would take before he gave up on the mission, or even died.
In one of the regions of the academy, a feminine instructor could be seen seated in a large hall in luxurious house robes in a carefree manner, a smirk that spoke volumes of bad news playing at the edge of her lips. Her eyes, equally sparkling with ruthlessness.
The mission Kailen had received obviously warranted he would have to head to that place — the Seragun plane, one of the most daunting regions of the academy, fraught with all sorts of dangers.
"So he is heading out huh. Perfect place for those students to get rid of him."
This person was, of course, Enna Harker.
Quickly she sent a message to a couple of senior students from the Harker Family, informing them of Kailen’s decision to leave the academy.
"A pity though. I like him, we could have been good friends, but alas. He just had to bark up the wrong tree."
She sighed, sincerely sad about Kailen’s set-in-stone demise, shrugged, then took a sip of the shake on the table.
