Chapter 200 Kidnapping Zane Harker
Kailen saw them,engaged in chatter. The Harkers, the mother and daughter. He had read about them. He recognized a few other influential persons from their clan. The auras they radiated was the only proof needed to tell that these ones boasted ridiculous strength,however he was not perturbed.
He was here to cause trouble ,and dissapear . The main reason why he had attended this gathering was simple, to humiliate the Harkers,and dissapear before any of them attempted anything stupid against him.
Kailen stared at Cyrus for a second ,his heart boiling with rage, however his facial expression was unreadable.
" Not now. The time will come" His gaze flickered on Bryce,his cousin for a split second.
" So he’s the useless son? I doubt . This guy ,there’s more to him than meets the eye. He’s dangerous "
Noting a few more persons he had done small research about ,he watched calmly,as the Harkers approached him.
Kailen was a proud person, extremely proud,one whose pride was ingrained deeply in his bones.
He was not the kind to cause trouble for those who did not cause trouble for him.
However ,the Harkers had stupidly rubbed him off the wrong way, thinking he was easy to bully.
" These bastards also want to use me to slap the Darkhavens in the face. Little do they know that Cyrus is the most likely person to have leaked the information about my lack of affiliation to the Darkhaven family. He probably did that to put several targets on my back- that way, tracing to the source of whoever manages to get rid of me will be extremely difficult. In case I were to be killed not only will he have what he wanted without laying a single hand on me personally, he would have gotten others to dirty their hands to get rid of me. But, I have the perfect hiding place after the stunt I’m gonna fucking pull tonight " A malicious glint flashed through Kailen’s eyes as he spoke.
