" What’s up with these guys "
Kailen mused inwardly to himself as he stared at Micheal, Arrie and Charles with a beffudled expression. He noticed their sudden shift in mood.
" Kailen, we decided that when we get to the ascendant level, we’d like to travel the universe seperately to increase our strength"Micheal said .
" We could only stand by the side and watch when you guys were having a face off with the aliens . It was really depressing" Charles said " If we are always with you,we will slack off and remain in your shadow all the time. You are too exceptional. We need to experience a lot on our own and increase our strength personally so that even if we are not able to get your level of strength, we will not be spectators all the time and drag you down"
Kailen stared at them with surprise . However he was inwardly happy.
" It seems they realized it. There’s no need for me to worry then. I was initially worried about how to tell them this but ,they’ve realized it on their own"
Kailen mused inwardly to himself.
" If I plan to stand by your side, I need to at least try to shorten the gap between us a little. I can’t always be on the sidelines" Arrie said .
" I know you don’t have a problem with protecting me, but I don’t want to be useless to you . And before you say I’m not useless, I know I’m not useless to you . However , I don’t anyone to see me as a weak point to you" Arrie added.
Kailen nodded with a smile . He understood them very well.
They didn’t want to be weaklings who would always be on the sidelines.Also if they were weak, there would come a time where people would try to use them as mediums to get under Kailen’s skin.
