Stan explained to the spectators seated in the bleachers of the large arena.
"The moment a duel is agreed upon, three minutes will be alloted for bettings before the duels begin. Please this is just a sparring session, however you may defend yourself against an opponent that intends to kill you or fatally wound you , even if you have to take their life"
Everyone nodded in agreement. Just because these were friendly duels didn’t mean that if someone decided to cause serious harm to another person, the individual was just supposed to watch the opponent fatally wound them or take their life without retaliating .
